Fall 2009's outstanding catwalks looks were surrealist, powerful, chic and defiantly feminine. Exaggerated shoulders and dramatic silhouettes dominated the runways. The list of the must-have pieces for Fall 2009 are obvious: motorcycle jacket, metallic shoes, major black dresses, day-time metallic, leather leggings, chunky cardigans, thigh-high boots and statement shoes were the most essential components on the catwalk for this Fall 2009.

Even though the world is still facing recession, designers offered plenty of persuasive distractions for the upcoming season.. An unexpected burst of color also highlighted the catwalks combined with super-skinny leg black trousers or super sexy thigh high boots.

So, fashionistas, get ready, get set and create your own image...the alternatives are endless! From the return of the fourties cut, classic men's fabrics, to the return of the french polish or the glittering shades of gold and copper for day or night, you have choices and options!!!! I have to admit, I am loving Fall/Autumn 2009's bold and confident statements.
