The Look Of The Golden Globe: The Black Dress

At the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards, the Black Dress was the star. Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry and Penelope Cruz were among my favorites taking the little black dress to new heights. I really loved the simplicity of Courtney's dress. She looked absolutely radiant, chic, and sophisticated, showing off her perfectly toned body with a fitted number by Victoria Beckham.

The Latin bombshell, Penelope Cruz, dazzled in a classic Old Hollywood style, a fitted banded dress by Giorgio Armani Prive.

Wow! The incomparable Halle Berry knows how to brighten a room. Her Va Va Voom number by Kaufman Franco showcased the star's flawless body to the appreciation of the crowd and the envy of many.

Halle Berry

To. Die. For. By far, my favorite black dress was the sexy Valentino number worn by Jennifer Aniston. She really rocked the dress. The slip on one thigh added the final touch of sexiness.

Jennifer Aniston

We all know the little black dress has been an essential element in the wardrobe for many years. Personally, I am not in love with black dresses so believe me when I say I am not easily impressed. I have to admit though that the little black dress stole the show and my heart this year.

What an incredible night to be in glamorous LA in the midst of the Golden Globe celebrations!!!. The famous Sunset Street Boulevard was gridlocked with Bentleys, Maybachs and limosines of all types, lined up down the legendary street in front of the hottest places including Chateau Marmont, Boa, Mondrian just to mention a few. Celebrities "A-listers" were in view hopping from one "IT" party to the next.

While the craziness of the Golden Globes Pre-/post parties took over Hollywood, Mireille Schwartz, philanthropist and San Francisco Magazine Editor, along with her daughter Charlotte Jude, hosted a "Forever 21" birthday and Kick-Off party for the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Houdini Mansion. San Francisco friends including Karen Caldwell and sister Erica Stefan, SF Designer Joseph Domingo, Tom Packo, Sobia and Nadir Shaikh, Craig Lipton, fabulous fashionista/stylist Keylee Sanders, Susan Dunlevy, Princess Fati Farmanfarmaian. A Fabulous Number by Marc Jacob

Greek Goddess Kate Moss

Co-Chairs
Designer Marc Jacob and Super Model Kate Moss

Kate Moss at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Wow....It's been awhile since I've seen A or THE piece that I'd die for...And for sure when this dress came across my eyes, I totally melted, overcome by the chicness and style of this beautiful number by Marc Jacob. As a fashion stylist that travels around the globe to capture the latest in fashion, I am not easily impressed. Really.
This gold lame asymmetrical dress worn originally by Kate Moss at The Metropolitan Museum of Art's 2009 Costume Institute Gala in New York certainly captivated me. It is a phenomenal investment to welcome/enjoy 2010....Cheers!!! Now available online at net-a-porter.com.
